Much has been made of the so-called Synthedit dual-core issue, but I've had success installing and using multiple copies of Cymbiant this way.

You'll notice in the zip file marked Synth several copies of Cymbiant: Cymbiant2.0, Cymbiant 2.0A,

How to:
Install Cymbiant2.0 in your VST plugin folder. Open your sequencer and pull up Cymbiant 2.0. Delete it and close your sequencer.

Go back to your VST plugin folder. You'll notice a folder. It contains the guts of Cymbiant 2.0. Put Cymbiant 2.0A into the VST plugin folder.

Repeat the above for 2.0A.

You can actually make as many copies of Cymbiant as you like by renaming the original .dll file. Just right click on the .dll and select rename. Careful not to mess with the .dll part. I'd suggest sequential renaming such as A,B,C,D. Just as long as Cymbiant 2.0 stays in the file name. Then follow the above steps to install.

Sorry for the hassle, but I didn't write Windows.

Place the presets in your preset folder, or the original Cymbiant 2.0 folder. They will work with all copies of the synth.
